Why should I choose a foam mattress instead of an innerspring mattress?
We are skilled mattress craftspeople who have been making foam mattresses for over 40 years. Foam mattresses feature outstanding pressure relief compared with traditional innerspring mattresses. Overall, foam is more comfortable. The many different kinds of foam available make it possible for us to design mattresses for each person’s preference.
What mattress firmness levels do you offer?
At 12 Park, we use foams of all firmness levels to create mattresses that are comfortable and supportive. Most of our mattresses have a medium firm feel as our experience shows that this is the preferred comfort level for most consumers. We do offer some plusher mattresses. The description of each mattress indicates the firmness level.
What is Smart Temp Memory Foam?
The next evolution of memory foam, Smart Temp Memory Foam is designed to keep its luxurious feel and provide the ideal amount of supportive softness while maintaining a consistent temperature all night long. What is aircool Foam?
Our AirCool Foam is at the cutting edge of foam technology, bringing to customers a cool and refreshing sleep experience. The open cell structure of the foam prevents heat from being trapped at the sleep surface, resulting in a lower steady state sleep temperature. It features enhanced cooling properties; airflow measures off the charts per standard ASTM test methods; a more comfortable sleep climate; a plush, luxurious, consistent feel; and an even distribution of body weight.
Why do your mattresses have different foam layers?
In addition to the top layer of foam that forms the sleep surface, foam mattresses can have additional layers. The base layer of high density polyurethane foam provides support and stability for your mattress. In addition, some of our mattresses will have a transition layer of foam, which sits between the top comfort layer and the base foam, optimizing the pressure-relieving benefits and helping to achieve the perfect balance of float and contour.
How should i care for my mattress?
Our mattresses should be spot cleaned only. We highly recommend using a mattress protector, but if you don’t and spots and stains make it onto your mattress, please do not remove the mattress cover. Doing so would ruin the mattress. We recommend spot cleaning with a mild detergent and letting it air dry. You can find additional care tips on our Mattress Care page.
